The Local Enterprise & Apprenticeship Platform (LEAP) is a free business support service in the Lewes District set-up by Lewes District Council. It helps residents and businesses to develop and grow their ideas and enterprises.
LEAP is funded by Lewes District Council.
It is a priority for Lewes District Council to support and grow entrepreneurs and businesses. The Council funds and supports a number of business support services so residents and businesses have access to free expert advice to turn ideas and ambitions into successful businesses.
The Council has invested more into its Local Enterprise & Apprenticeship Platform (LEAP) programme. Originally launched in 2013 to help entrepreneurs’ start-up a business, the service has expanded and now provides free business support and advice to all residents and businesses in the Lewes District to develop and grow their ideas and enterprises.
LEAP is funded by Lewes District Council, and Edeal is contracted to deliver the service.
The LEAP Programme is delivered by Edeal.
Edeal has been providing impartial and confidential expert business support services to new, small and medium sized businesses in East Sussex for over 34 years.
Edeal is a not-for-profit organisation, working with experienced advisors who have had experience running their own business. They come from all business sectors including manufacturing, retail, hospitality, creative arts, charities and technology.
