Jeannette’s passion for nails started back in 2005 when after 30 years of biting them she finally stopped, and they started to grow. She loved painting them and they made her feel happier and more confident. There was no turning back then and upon receiving such amazing comments regarding her nails she decided to go to college and complete a level 2 Nail Technician course.

As a single mum of four with two of her children being disabled, it was a daunting prospect for Jeannette to go back to college, but she juggled her time and passed her exam to qualify as a nail technician.

Jeannette went on to open a nail salon from her home but sadly after just one month of opening tragedy struck and her eldest son and biggest supporter died in a car accident. The support her son gave her made her even more determined to make a success of her business but then covid struck and everything was put on hold.

With the nail salons being closed Jeannette had to think of another way to run her business so she decided to make press on nails that she could sell online. Jeannette now makes and sells bespoke nails for that special occasion, be it parties, weddings or Christmas.

Jeannette completed the LEAP Start up Programme in 2022.
