Bulb Floristry launched in 2018, it is the brainchild of Yorkshire born Claire Mothersdale, who after studying floristry at Plumpton College gained over 15 years’ experience in the industry before setting up her own business.

Bulb is celebrating a 1st year anniversary in their fabulous light-filled studio located at the stylish workspace of the architecturally designed Pharmacie Coffee Roasters, on the Cliffe Industrial Estate in Lewes.

Bulbs stunning bunches have been one of Lewes best kept secrets, their signature style arrangements have already established a stronghold within the designer community with an impressive client list, they are now available for local delivery.

Claire said, “we also specialise in creating one-off extraordinary designs for editorial and commercial shoots in Sussex and London, as well as installations, private events, interior design, collaborations and shows.”

Wedding season is upon us, but Bulb are also planning to run some floral workshops later in the year for individuals to learn how to create Claire’s beautiful designs at home.

Claire participated in the LEAP business start-up programme which was funded by Lewes District Council and delivered by Edeal, she really enjoyed the programme and would encourage anybody who is thinking of starting a new business to access this invaluable advice.
