EDEAL Business Development Manager Steve Holt attended the first B2B networking event today (Thursday 26th of July) to talk about the business support offered by LEAP.

The group has been set up by Vanessa Peters, one of the LEAP mentors and encourages both new and established businesses to network over lunch and build new connections. The group meets every Thursday, 12.30pm at the Pelham Arms Pub.

Steve said “I was delighted to be asked to attend the launch of B2B Lewes. There were a lot of established businesses attending and we were able to share best practice and some top networking tips. I particularly enjoyed the open discussion we had about the changing business community in Lewes. We had a number of businesses interested in the 1-2-1 mentoring, business plan clinics and social media training we offer which is funded in full by Lewes District Council’.

Steve continued “Lewes has a number of great business networking groups including Mumpreneurs, First Friday as well as a vibrant Chamber of Commerce.”
