Nicki Whitehead of Home Care Business Support walked away from the LEAP celebration dinner at the View Seaford on the 18^th July with the title ‘LEAP Entrepreneur of the year 2019’. She wins a cash prize of £2500 and a trophy.

Nicki has started a new and unique management and training concept for businesses providing home care to people wanting to remain independent in their own homes. Her consultancy company will provide care managers with the solutions for business growth, talent management and compliance auditing to ensure long-term sustainability and outstanding quality.

The runner up was Cara Brennan of Cara Brennan Art, Cara is setting up a business creating large abstract paintings, limited prints of her artworks will be translated into luxury silk scarves and greetings cards. Her main route to market is via online sales. Cara also wins a cash prize to the tune of £500.

Registration for the LEAP 2020 Programme will be open in Nov 2019 and interested applicants can register via the LEAP web site http://yourleap.co.uk/. The Programme itself will start in Jan 2020
